What I WORE: Into The Blue

First of all I want you folks to know that I am extremely happy that I was able to shoot another WHAT I WORE feature for the mag..

I have been dying to do this for a few months now but my weight seems to be getting in the way of things HAHA! 

So thank GOD that I was able to hit the gym and fix my diet (just a little haha!).. 

Plus given this opportunity of hosting another event made my FOCUS in losing weight a little more on point..

So here’s what I actually wore on that hosting stint that you folks might want to wear on some of your (not so) formal events but you want to outstand by being a dapper gent..

Well it’s not super formal because of the shoes and the fact that I had to wear that NO SHOW SOCK..

Anyway the whole look works despite having two different prints because both prints are not over powering each other..

The polka dots are smaller and the stripes are thin..

And since there are already two details that makes the look special..

 I had to tone the other details out like by pairing it with matching trousers and a a crisp white shirt..

I was fortunate enough to actually have a tie with the same print as the details of the coat that I am wearing..

Then I was also fortunate enough to find these plain white topsiders (that is just on budget.. haha)..

Lastly these clear eyewear that I usually use to accessorize my look..

So just remember to keep the whole look clean by not having too much of things going on with the whole look and lastly that choice of color can maintain that dapper gent in you..

Editor’s Note: FOREVER SUMMER

3years ago we have launched our first ever anniversary issue entitled “The RISE of a GREEK hero”..

Where me and the whole crew went all the way to Villa Alfredo’s Resort in Pampanga (which they own by the way) to shoot..

Now (almost) 3years after our coverboy MICHAEL ANGELES is back on our cover!

let me just quickly update you folks with MICHAEL now..

He’s now in COLLEGE (he was just 17y.o during our first shoot..)

he is very much in love now with his girlfriend "ANDEE" (sorry girls and boys haha)..

and he now owns his own business (which we will talk about once we release the whole editorial) ..

Not only that - this time he brought along his younger brother GAB for his first ever shoot..

they will both share the story behind their WEIGHT LOSS and how they manage to maintain their weight..

Anyway it took me awhile to squeeze in EDITING and WRITING for this (so thank GOD)..

But I’m really glad that we could finally unveil all four covers..

yes! for the first time we have four covers..

so here they are, welcome to FOREVER SUMMER.

Look Who’s STALK’n On Our Next Issue “Mike & Gab”

SUMMER is OVER. Huh!?

Well we all know that there’s such a thing as FOREVER..

It’s FOREVER SUMMER in the PHILIPPINES! Haha.. (I apologize for the sarcasm)

But that’s actually a good thing.. why?

What would be the use of all our crazy beautiful BEACHES if it’s raining..?

Anyway we’d like to say that SUMMER is EXTENDED as we bring you Mike & Gab Angeles on our next issue..

We will share with you more of our quick trip to their home in Quezon city as we’ve done a quick raid on their closet..

Seen their workout haven..

And met their dogs “KINDER” and “JJ”

I’d like to thank my STYLIST and former cover girl DINDZ TESTON (@dindz_teston) for helping us shoot this comeback of MIKE for STALK..

And now he’s with his brother GAB who lost a whole lot of weight..

I’ll tell you more about this awesome shoot and their WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS when we unveil the cover (in a few days..)

3rd Anniversary Issue

Rest Days are such a blessing..

Because it just gives me TIME..

Time to THINK..

To EAT..

To GO OUT..

And most of all WORK ON MY MAG!

Yes, you are right I stayed the whole day inside my room to do some post processing on our latest issue with our awesome cover boy JON!

We normally don’t settle for less when it comes to our covers..

So we are proud to release an ALTERNATE cover of our latest summer issue this year..

TADAAAAAHHH! haha.. 

Anyway hopefully I'd be able to finish the whole editorial tomorrow.. (cross fingers!)

EDITOR’s NOTE: Three Years Of STALK’n..

SUMMER is definitely one of the highlights in our country..

Because our country is an archipelago then it only means that we have a lot of BEACHES in the country..

Not to mention that we have the BEST in the WORLD..

From BORACAY (which I blogged about a week ago)

CORON..

AMANPULO..

And a lot more..

We are simply BLESSED to LIVE in this wealthy country.

Now aside from having best BEACHES..

We also have the best looking people in the world..

We are a HYBRID of JAPANESE, SPANISH and AMERICAN blood..

And true enough - any BLOODLINE that you mix with our race creates the best looking people in the planet..

Like Anne Curtis, Marian Rivera, angelica Panganiban and a whole lot more.

Speaking of FILIPINO beauty – STALK loves featuring beautiful people (inside and out) on our pages for the past 3 years..

For those who do not know STALK was BORN in the SUMMER of 2012..

And yes it is our ANNIVERSARY! (Yeeeeyyyy!!!)

I am really glad that this area of my life became a BLESSING for others..

But most of you don’t know that amongst all of us – I HAVE BEEN MORE BLESSED.

STALK not only gave me friends through our featured models but it also helped me hone my talent in PHOTOGRAPHY..

That is when I was able to CONTRIBUTE for the pages of STATUS magazine’s GoSee back in 2013..

And most of the people that I took photos of became good friends and mine just like Christian Reasonda, Yapo, David Olson, Rad Kauer and Carren Baloloy..

Not only in that area but I became more CONFIDENT with my STYLE through the "WHAT I WORE" feature..

I am also NOT A GOOD WRITER at all – but all I know that I was good at making REFLECTION PAPERS back in college.. haha!

but through writing  for STALK for the past couple of years – I have improved a lot! (even wrote an article for the newsletter of the company I work for a couple of times..

You see my point here is that I have created STALK thinking that I could bless others..

But It BLESSED me more instead..

So I am ENCOURAGING everyone to SHARE your TALENTS without anything in return..

HONE your GOD given GIFTS and I tell you..

You will receive a whole lot of MIRACLES in your LIVES..

Now before I end my very SHORT note (haha!)

We have this stunning model/athlete/Software Engineer named JON LEO LIMBO on our latest cover..

This was shot under the BLAZING SUN of ALABANG (thanks Jon for working it like a PRO!)

I’ll share with you a lot more about him when we release our whole editorial this week..

What I WORE: Basics “The White Tee”

Men’s wear is as BASIC as we guys are..

As much as we want to make things complicated it’s all about being GWAPO (or handsome in English)

MEN want to dress up because we want to look FRESH..

Kinda like the guy out of shower.. (please nod your head..haha)

So this year my “WHAT I WORE” entries would be the BASICS..

How to build your strong WARDROBE fit for all occasion..

So to start with what’s the most basic of them all?

The FRESH WHITE TEE..

Or during my college days it was called the ZANJOE MARUDO look haha! (from PBB a local show that I watch..)

There are a lot of variety when choosing a white tee..

1.       COMFORT

I’m sure most guys would agree that we prioritize comfort than any other thing (right?)

My choice would be the one which is made with cotton..

2.       BRAND

Don’t get me wrong I am not that brand conscious but there are certain brands that I personally TRUST (big word! haha)

3.       FIT

Since I am not that guy with a small waist then FIT is important for me..

I would normally choose the fit that’s tight on the arms and a little loose on the torso..

So given these criteria in choosing a white tee here’s how I would rock this basic item and make it mine..

I paired it with a FADED GREY PANTS..

Then I chose to make it fun by using SNEAKS instead of a more serious footwear..

Then to add up that “ME” vibe I accessorized this basic look with a NAVY BLUE TRENCH (just to maximize the cold weather for the past few days)

 And a BROWN BELT + BLACK WATCH & BLACK SHADES..

This look is so wearable in a lot of ways..

Either hitting the MALL with FRIENDS..

Casual OFFICE LOOK..

And a lot more..

So that’s it STALKERS for my first look inspired by the WHITE TEE..
